How initial pilot career path works?

There are many information that mislead the public saying “the huge number of pilots required in the next 10 years or so” , this is not completely correct as the interpretation may be misleading. The pilot have to go through various training before the standard airlines industry can accept them to filled their pilot seat safely.
From flying school, the student pilot requires averagely 12 to 15 months to complete their CPL (Commercial Pilot License) training, although some regulatory requirement such as FAA only mandate 150 hours, however normally the graduates completed around 200-250 hours, which includes Multi Engine rating to conduct their CPL license check ride and obtain certificates. Some of the integrated ATPL training graduates have logged averagely from 200 to 250 flight hours. They have to do more work to obtain initial experience as most of the airlines do not employ low time or green pilots, therefore to find a job in airlines environment is not as easy as you read no most articles, getting a new type rating is something useless unless you see the green light for job offer or line training experience.
