Air Pegasus is a semi-low-cost regional carrier based at Bangalore International Airport. The carrier launched its inaugural services on 12-Apr-2015 to Thiruvananthapuram and Hubli. Additional destinations to be launched in the carrier's first year include Hyderabad, Kochi Int'l, Goa, Madurai, Tuticorin, and Kozhikode. Air Pegasus plans to fly 25 sectors daily with three 66-seater ATR aircraft leased from Ireland's Elix Aviation. In the long-term, Air Pegasus hopes to launch international services to Malé and Dhaka. The carrier is backed by Décor Aviation, which has provided USD15 million in loans along with Canara Bank, providing USD5 million.
