Company Description:

Welcome

Eastern SkyJets FZE (ESJ) is rising from the ruins brought about by its former ownership team, its old fleet and over-bloated manpower structure, and its outdated business model which failed to respond decisively to the changing market and industry conditions.

The new ownership is committed to normalize the company’s financial relationship with all its creditors, including all former staff, government agencies, and commercial creditors and suppliers through implementing a debt reduction and rescheduling plan which it has consulted and reached consensus with an overwhelming majority of the creditors. Complete transparency in conducting business and its flight operations is the core business principle governing the new company’s operations.

Safety is paramount in the new company’s policies and operational practices, followed by maintaining high quality standards, and economic efficiency. A completely new team of Postholders and senior managers as well as technical staff, a modern fleet, and a scalable and more market-responsive business model are expected to pull the company out of its recent tumultuous past and achieve a steady-state-growth beginning in the second year of its operation. Once granted its renewed Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) by the UAE (United Arab Emirates) GCAA (General Civil Aviation Authority), Eastern SkyJets would be the only wide-body aircraft charter operator not only in the UAE but also in the entire GCC Region.

Expected to commence its operations with 6 units of A330-200s, Eastern SkyJets intend to expand its fleet size by at least 2 aircraft per year, including several units of B777-200ERs, and steadily increasing its fleet size to 17 aircraft by the end of 2020.

From its operational base at Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) International Airport, ESJ will operate pilgrimage flights from the Far-Eastern, the Indian sub-continent, and CIS countries; ACMI-lease operations for the tour operators and other airlines in need of additional airlift capacity; cargo flights; and ad-hoc charter flights to serve the international aid and humanitarian agencies with rescue and emergency operations, as well as VIP clients.

With an average fleet age of less than 15 years, our aircraft shall be reconfigured to offer the best combination of comfort, safety and economic efficiency for a wide range of clients, including pilgrims, humanitarian and group movements, and business executives.
